We look through recommendations and discussions from different communities to see what keeps coming up, what people found approachable, and what actually helped them understand a subject. AI may help draft or edit descriptions from that material, but the selection and final review are ours.

Some resources work well as introductions. Others are better for a specific topic, a different angle, or going deeper once you already know the basics. A resource doesn't need to be perfect or universally loved to be included. When there's a real caveat worth knowing, a book that's dense in places, or dated, or gets mixed feedback, we try to say so rather than leave it out.

Being on KnowSift isn't a claim that something is the definitive or best way to learn a subject. It means there was a real reason to think it's worth including for someone exploring that topic.

Resources marked Start Here reflect a stronger editorial call: these are the ones we think make particularly good entry points. Community recommendations and KnowSift votes can help surface what's worth a look, but nothing gets added or ranked purely by an automatic score.

KnowSift is being built gradually, one subject at a time, rather than filled out shallowly across everything at once. More subjects and topics will be added as they're properly curated. If something important is missing, you're welcome to suggest it.

KnowSift doesn't host the learning materials. Resource links go to the original creator, publisher, platform, or source wherever possible. Some book covers come from Open Library when a better image isn't available.
